21. Sep 2021 New universal base plate for privacy fences
In order to expand the range of application of its privacy fences, the company SCHRAUBFREI from the Upper Black Forest has developed a new universal base plate and has been selling it since the summer of this year. The very stable base plate, which is comparable with a post shoe, consists of 6 millimeters of strong steel and is supplied alternatively powder-coated or hot-dip galvanized. The plate has pre-drilled holes and can therefore be optimally screwed onto walls, paved areas or concreted areas. Thus the view protection fences of SCHRAUBFREI can be installed now also, where a letting in of the posts is not possible the underground.
The connection of posts and universal base plate is ensured by screws, these are supplied and let into predrilled holes. Because the upright element of the base plate is 25 centimeters long, the stability of the entire privacy fence construction is ensured at all times. Particularly practical: SCHRAUBFREI sends with the order a suitable drilling template for marking on the substrate. These templates have notches that allow exact alignment on a string.
The ingenious simplicity of SCHRAUBFREI – there is only one post type – continues with the base plates: one base plate is required per post. Thus, for center posts made of two standard posts, two base plates are required. This makes it easy to realize variable gradations for center posts with base plates. A special service for landscapers and private garden owners is that the manufacturer also supplies the posts with base plates pre-assembled on request.
