The SCHRAUBFREI company from the Upper Black Forest is known for its innovative strength. This characteristic is now evident in the development of new base plates for privacy fences. The special feature is that there are three different base plates: for single posts, for double posts as well as for corner posts. They are comparable to a post shoe, are made of 6 millimetre thick steel and are always supplied hot-dip galvanised and optionally powder-coated.

The base plates have pre-drilled holes and can therefore be screwed onto walls, paved areas or concreted areas. This means that SCHRAUBFREI privacy fences can also be installed where it is not possible to embed the posts in the ground.

The three new base plates are a further development of the previous universal base plate, which has since been removed from the range. This has increased variability and made the installation of SCHRAUBFREI privacy fences even easier for landscape gardeners and private garden owners.

Another note on stability: The connection of posts and base plate is ensured by screws, which are supplied and inserted into pre-drilled holes. Because the upright element of the base plate is 25 centimetres long, the stability of the entire privacy fence construction is ensured at all times. SCHRAUBFREI also sends suitable drilling templates with the order for marking on the substrate. These templates have notches that enable exact alignment on a string.
